Wrocław to Kraków
I had a whole morning left in Wrocław before I was due to pick up passenger #2 and I needed to leave the campsite and find a good cheap parking place so that I could establish a good place to meet. I’ve found that the hardest thing when picking up passengers on the road is to sort out a good spot when the area is so unfamiliar; I usually try and leave it to them but so far they have seemed reluctant to specify a spot. In this instance I found an excellent car park just around the corner which was still empty at 8 o’clock in the morning, perfect.
I had already found an outside swimming lake that I wanted to explore which was on the other side of a largish area of parkland so I packed up my stuff and a large blanket and went to go and find it. I had already walked through the park, it was really well kept and a lovely place for a wander.

The lake was only about twenty minutes away to Morskie Oko but I looked around the park and got there about forty minutes later. It was an amazing day by this time and as it was still early, the lake was relatively quiet. I paid the man at the tollbooth and went in to try and figure out the best place to do some serious swimming amongst all of the slides and exciting fun things to do. My twelve year old self would have been beside herself with excitement at this place.
